Job Description:

As the Business Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and expanding our client base. You will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, particularly targeting companies interested in entering the Asian market. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional networking skills and a deep understanding of market research and consulting services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Identify, develop, and nurture relationships with potential clients who are considering investments in Asia. Generate new business leads through networking, cold calling, and strategic partnerships.

  • Client Engagement: Conduct consultations and presentations to understand client needs and propose tailored market research and consulting solutions.

  • Market Research: Stay updated on market trends and industry insights relevant to our target clients. Use this knowledge to position as a thought leader and trusted advisor.

  • Proposal Development: Collaborate with the consulting team to develop compelling proposals and presentations that showcase our capabilities and address client requirements.

  • Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for additional services or referrals.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven track record in business development within the market research or consulting industry, with a focus on Asia-Pacific markets preferred.
  • Networking Skills: Strong existing network of contacts in Australia and New Zealand, particularly among businesses considering international expansion.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.

  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to analyze market data and client information to develop effective business strategies and solutions.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Additional qualifications in market research or international business are advantageous.
